Program Information
Class is 30 minutes long. You want to arrive 10-15 minutes before class to stretch and foam roll, which we will teach you. All in all, you want to allot 45 minutes for class.
How many days a week is bootcamp?
Mission: Unbreakable is twice per week on Monday and Wednesday. Mission: Metabolism is up to three times per week on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. How many times per week you attend depends on the package you choose please see our pricing page for more information.
Can I go to different class times?
Due to the size of our classes, people must commit to a class time to prevent confusion and overcrowding. If this is just a one-time, issue, we can usually accommodate. However if a person's schedule is constantly rotating, we cannot accommodate that. I would suggest calling us to discuss custom options.
What does each class consist of?
Arrival Time: Each boot camp instructor will arrive on location and open the doors 15 minutes before the official start of the workout. Campers are expected to use this time to go through their own personal improvement routine. This is also time to discuss any questions, comments, or concerns with the on-site trainer before the start of the workout. Please know that our main focus is keeping our campers safe and healthy. Thus, each class begins with a complete, state-of-the-art warm-up emphasizing mobility and activation to best prevent unwanted injury and to allow for a more effective workout. Thus, late arrivals will not be allowed to workout without a proper warm-up. Campers who are chronically tardy will be subject to membership suspension or termination on a case-by-case basis. Workout Time: Our express workouts are designed to last approximately 20 minutes long. They consist of high-intensity circuit training using bodyweight and tools such as dumbbells, ropes, kettlebells, TRXs and more! Departure Time: Each boot camp instructor will remain for up to 50 minutes past the official start of each workout- an extra 10-15 minutes following the completion of each 30-minute session to address any remaining personal questions or concerns. Campers are also highly encouraged to use this time to perform their post-workout routine consisting of corrective stretching and self-massage to best prevent nagging aches and pains and reduce soreness between workouts. However, this program caters to busy professionals, and we do understand if you need to leave immediately at the end of each workout. In this case, campers are expected to perform their post-workout routines at another time for best results.
What is the difference between Mission: Metabolism and Mission: Unbreakable?
Mission: Unbreakable is a lower intensity class that focuses on mobility, flexibility and tissue work. This ensures that you are able to achieve full ranges of motion during bootcamp and will also decrease your likelihood of injury. All participants, must go through this first before entering Mission: Metabolism. Any program that DOES NOT offer something like this to its clients is doing them a great disservice and is most likely using out-of-date methodologies. Mission: Metabolism is a high-intensity bootcamp-style class that involves strength-training and is designed to burn optimal amounts of bodyfat and increase lean muscle.
Where are your classes located?
Please refer to the Locations tab above.
How much does the program cost?
We have various membership levels. You can refer to the Pricing page to see the cost of membership.
Not much as we provide the equipment needed for your class. Each camper is expected to bring the follow items to each workout: - A water bottle or approved workout drink with shaker bottle - A wipe down towel - A foam roller, tennis ball, and/or massage stick (you don't need this on the first day, but we recommend purchasing one if you decide to become a member) - An equipment bag to hold all of the aforementioned items.
How do I receive updates, emails, etc?
All campers will be provided with a newsletter sign-up link at the initial boot camp orientation.
How does nutrition factor into the program?
Our goal is not to overwhelm, but rather to ease you into adopting healthier dietary habits for long-term success. All trial members will receive a complimentary nutrition quick-start plan that will provide basic introductory nutrition guidelines to get the ball rolling in the right direction. At the end of the tryout period, all new paying members will be eligible for our monthly grocery store tour and nutrition seminar. It is here where we will explain the tenets of sound nutrition for optimal health, performance, and body composition. In addition, new paying members will be provided with The Carb Rotation Diet from Registered Dietician Jayson Hunter consisting of monthly updated done-for-you belly fat-burning meal plans available for instant download at our Get Sexy Boot Camps members-only site at www.getsexybootcamps.com. You will also get access to our Member Zone, which holds tons of delicious recipes and alternative meal plans!
Health
Are there age restrictions? I'm 62.
We do not have a specific age limit as people's fitness levels vary greatly within age groups. Almost anyone can do the entry level bootcamp and from there we can make a recommendation as to whether we feel going on to the high-intensity bootcamp is right for you or if we feel we can recommend another program.
I am disabled with chronic back pain (or another ailment). Could I still do this program?
Every person and chronic ailment is different from the next. We would have to see you in person and do an assessment as well as have you go through Mission: Unbreakable (which is suitable for almost anyone) before we can decide if Mission: Metabolism Bootcamp would be a good fit. The Mission: Unbreakable program is ideal for someone with chronic ailments as it focuses on improving body mechanics and reducing pain at a low intensity . We would suggest registering for Mission: Unbreakable to get your assessment and also learn ways to cope and hopefully manage some of the chronic pain. After the three weeks, we can re-assess and determine if moving to a higher intensity program is the right fit.
Facilities
Non-metered street parking and free surface lot parking is available at both locations!
Are there showers and changing rooms at either of this locations?
We have changing rooms at both locations. We do not have showers at our facilities. If you workout at Bay View in the morning and would like access to showers in the Downtown area, we can connect you with a facility that charges $40/month to access their shower and changing facilities.
